So these are the little cuties I treated myself to for my graduation. The gold, the style, the font, simply love. I ordered them from Shopbop and even though they came from America they turned up within 48hrs. Amazing.

Mani Monday - Disco Fingers

Hello Beauties,

Here is today's mani, it's pretty simple but effective. 

This red, pink and blue glitter polish (from Claire's Accessories) looks pretty good wrapped around a cocktail or two! 

I've just ordered the Matte Topcoat from Rimmel so except a little mani  incorporating that soon. I'm thinking a sexy black mani.

Mani Monday - Champagne Gold

So last week I graduated. I may not have a career in my degree and I may not want to use it again, but I graduated! I had a proud family cheering me across the stage and champagne gold mani to match.

I also had some Marc Jacob earrings too ... but I'll show you them another time.

Mani Monday - Floral Stampings

Hey Beauts,

Just popping by to show you my first attempt at stamping. I used a pretty floral design from my Konad set and use a new unbranded nail colour in a pretty reddy brown colour. Here are the pics, not great but you get the idea sweets.

 

It is only s first attempt and I still need a lot of practise that's for sure! Big week ahead this week, handed my notice in at work as I have been offered a new position, going to the FRA open day and finally graduating all in one week.

Mani Monday - Black Sparkle

Hello Lovelies,

So I celebrated my 24th birthday this last week, expect a round up of my treats in the next few days.

Today I have a sneak peek of the beautiful mani my bestie did for me for our weekend celebrations which resulted in one major hangover Sunday. It's a super glossy sparkly black but sometimes the simple ones are just the best.

Mani Monday - With a twist

Hey beauties,

How is everyone? Today's mani monday is slightly different as I am going to share some inspiration with you rather than a specific mani that I have created.

I am celebrating my birthday this week which means I will have lots of visiting nails to mani up for next weeks post. So with that in mind, here are some manis that I both love and hope that one day my hand will be steady enough to do on myself. But here's to wishing eh?

I've been naughty and bought far too many treats for myself so expect an update on what I've ticked off my wish list lovelies.

Mani Monday - Half Moons

Hello Lovelies <3

How is everyone? Today's mani is one that I have been meaning to do for a while now and having finally got around to doing it I am so happy with the results.

Although a bit messy, I think they are pretty good for a first attempt. After trying to do half moons the way my nail art book describes I had to admit defeat and buy some hole reinforcer circles to use a templates. Here are the results ladies.

In other good news, I have now applied for a course at The Fashion Retail Academy, wish me luck everyone as it is one of my dreams and also the first thing I can tick off of my 2013 To-Do list. How exciting!

Mani Monday - Sharpie Secrets

Hey everyone, Happy New Year!! I hope that 2013 brings you everything that you wish for. I am working on making 2013 the best year of my life so far, I have lots of exciting new plans and wish that I am working my butt off to make happen. Wish me luck everyone <3

Today's mani is a kind of cheat that I saw on The Beauty Departments blog, I've chosen a design that I absolutely love and that is very simple too. Steps below beauts.

 

1. Prep and base coat

2. Two coats of chosen nail colour 

3. Using the sharpies (in this case I chose the gold and silver) draw a pyramid point (pointing upwards)

4. Seal with a good quality top coat.
